Shea & Dustin wanted to share their love with all their closest friends and family and celebrate their marriage. They wanted their guests to feel immersed in their celebration, setting up a scavenger hunt around Morris Arboretum. The welcome table was set up with fun glasses, boas, and flowers. The couple incorporated their South American heritage by tying in cultural elements through a Caipirinha signature drink, as well as color & decor. The entire night was all about love, culture and heritage.
The couple opted for non-traditional elements for their non-traditional wedding celebration. Shea wore a gorgeous colorful dress, and guests arrived in garden party attire. The evening had a relaxed vibe to it, focusing on company rather than formality. Kids were welcome in the celebration, as Shea & Dustin wanted the focus of the night to be all about family. The pair even incorporated a family tree into their decor along with a vintage photo booth by Majestic Photobooth.
Cocktail Hour was spent among the trees in the arboretum’s Tree Canopy Walk. The couple set up comfortable pillows to encourage guests to sit and relax in the Squirrel Scramble, a huge hammock-like net where you can look down to the ground far below through the rope netting. Guests drank, mingled, and enjoyed music by Liberty Bell Brass Band which led a parade to the reception area where dinner by Seedling & Sage was enjoyed.
It was a beautiful day celebrating Shea & Dustin’s love for one another.
