There’s something especially magical about a May wedding at The Inn at Fox Briar Farm – the gardens beginning to bloom, golden light stretching into the evening, and every corner feeling warm and alive. Hailey and Curtis embraced all of that and more with a wedding day that felt effortlessly romantic from beginning to end.
Their reception design was the perfect balance of soft and vibrant. Tablescapes were layered with sage green napkins, glowing candlelight, and the dreamiest pops of pastel poppies by Wildbird Flowers that brought so much life and color into the space. Every detail felt intentional yet inviting – warm, intimate, and full of personality.
Some of the sweetest moments of the day were the quiet ones. Nicole Katherine Photography captured Hailey and Curtis sharing private vows while ducks grazed nearby, their hands intertwined during heartfelt dinner toasts, and guests laughing together over custom cocktails during cocktail hour. It was the kind of wedding where emotion lived in the little in-between moments just as much as the big ones.
Guests were welcomed to dinner with a first course of our favorite Modern Caesar Salad – crisp romaine, kale, shaved parmesan, and homemade croutons. The dinner menu continued with elevated seasonal entrées like our Tuscan Lemon Chicken, Coffee & Cocoa Rubbed Filet Mignon, and Lemon Farfalle with asparagus and peas – a bright and comforting vegetarian option that perfectly complemented the spring celebration.
What made the weekend even more special for our team was getting to celebrate alongside Hailey and Curtis for two full days. From hosting their rehearsal dinner the night before to serving their wedding day, our staff had the opportunity to truly connect with their families and guests. Between the kindness of their loved ones, the energy from our team, and the joy that carried throughout the weekend, it was one of those weddings that reminded us exactly why we love what we do.
As the night came to a close, friends and family lined up outside for a sparkling sendoff beneath the stars. The perfect ending to a day that felt deeply personal, joyful, and overflowing with love.
