Extra, Extra! Read all about it!
One word: Marble
Marble texture landed in the fashion world during 2013 & since then it has blossomed tremendously in almost every industry! The clean lines, acrylic, shine, and shimmer add a new pop with which Seedling & Sage has been dying to experiment. In honor of that: this year is all about risk-taking. We first incorporated the trendy design accent into an event hosted at Nicol Floral Design Studio, a studio that creates and displays floral walls. A styled shoot with ASYA Photography and cocktail party followed suit and the marble movement began.
“Culinary couture” is how co-owners Melissa McDevitt and Laura Kidwell describe our aesthetic here at Seedling & Sage. As we continue to diversify our wedding venues and event space options, we wanted to showcase a whole new feel of couture.
The new 2019 / 2020 “modern luxe look” is an addition to our comfortable and very popular farm-chic rustic vibe. Rather than straying from our past, we’re growing from it! The warm fuzzy feeling attributed to our events will forever remain. But should you choose to party on the marble train with us, these new additions will for sure capture your guests’ eye as much as their taste buds!
So how do you click with us? Do you know us as the “they do different” company you used for your wedding reception last summer in that arboretum? Or are we the “oh my god did you taste their food?” caterers who supplied the chips, dips, and taco bar necessities for your office party last holiday season? Whichever way you know us- let us know in the comments! And we thank you for hopping onto this ride that is our progression into the company we’ve always dreamed of being.
A very special thank you to those who helped this photoshoot come to life: Party Rentals LTD, West Elm (we seriously love that white tray!), Anthropologie and, last but not least, Pier 1 Imports.
