Seedling and Sage Catering announces the launch of their BOOK ONCE Exclusively Yours Event Package, designed to ease the stress for today’s event hosts in this ever-changing climate.

The Book Once Package allows the client to bring Seedling + Sage Catering anywhere they choose. This unprecedented opportunity means that a client could be booked at a venue, with Seedling as the caterer, then if the venue can suddenly not hold events, or is strapped with a capacity guideline, the customer could then take Seedling to another property, or their home, on the same date. By providing this option, the client has continuity in their overall planning and vision. It’s also one less vendor to source and hire.

“What we are seeing right now is that our clients want options,” said Director of Catering Darcy Hill. “Indoor, outdoor, small, large, they are willing to adapt, and so are we,” she said.

Seedling’s initial niche was the outdoor wedding and event market at barns, farms, arboretums and private homes. They since have added several exclusive venues, city-wide festivals and dozens of venues to their list of offerings.

“Knowing how to execute an outdoor event takes experience and finesse,”says Laura Kidwell, Managing Partner. “Building a kitchen in the woods with no electric and no water, is no small feat. We have done it hundreds of times,” she says.

In addition to changing venues, and moving from indoor to outdoor, many clients have had to change their dates if the state or county is in a “Red” or “Yellow” phase that would preclude them from having their event. In this case, Seedling would then roll their deposit over to a new date.
