2021 Best Places To Plan a Safe Event During COVID

This is a subject we are talking about dozens of times of day with all types of clients from couples, to memorials, to proms. Where is the safest place to plan my event this Spring? Will guests come? Will the guidance change? Will everyone be vaccinated? Our hearts go out especially to those couples who already postponed in 2020, just to have the same worries in 2021. Here are two questions answered by brides.com, and we agree! We operated many weddings safely and happily outdoors during 2020 (our an indoor/outdoor hybrid model), and we are doing the same in 2021. Your event may look a little different than you visioned, but take a look at our photo inspo board from 2020… it will still be gorgeous! Bottom line… book the space you love… just be sure there’s an outdoor option in case pandemic restrictions are still in effect, or just to keep any worried guests feeling safe.

I just got engaged—what are the best places to start planning a wedding with COVID?

Depending on the city and state that you live in and the regulations that apply, I would highly suggest you choose an outdoor location. Whether it’s a farm, backyard wedding or beach wedding, you can always play it safe for your guests. –Tatiana Angel, international wedding and event planner

What are considered “safe” venues right now?

Immediately I think outdoors—wide, open and airy. Estates, gardens, spacious backyards, rooftop decks even! Anywhere that I can ensure that everyone is socially distanced and I can minimize risk. –Roxanne Bellamy, event planner and designer
