Philadelphia Orchard Project (POP)

Farms, Barn, and Arboretum events are extremely POPular! We hosted Philadelphia Orchard Project’s (POP) “Orchard to Table” Dinner at Bartram’s Garden. Freshly harvested vegetables from Philly FoodWorks were delivered right to our door so Chef Wheyne could create his dishes with the freshest of ingredients.  The menu offered: pecan crusted chicken with a local honey drizzle atop a bed of wilted spinach, tomatoes, shallots,  goat cheese Mediterranean tartlets, our signature autumn harvest salad with fresh maple cider vinagrette, butternut squash, apples, and more, and finally Chinese eggplants… also freshly picked!
